No subscription. No BS. Just Gators renting from Gators.
SwampSwap is the closet-sharing service UF needs. Built by students, for students — rent gameday looks, formal dresses, and spring break fits straight from other Gators. No subscription, ever. When you rent out your own stuff, SwampSwap keeps a small percentage of the listed price — you'll always see exactly what you'll take home before you post.
SwampSwap runs on community — real girls, real closets, real fits, all @ufl.edu verified so it stays a UF thing.

Want to try before you commit?
Some listings offer a free try-on — pick a time slot, the owner hands it over, and you've got 6 hours to decide. Bring it back in that window and you owe nothing. Keep it or wear it out? That's a rental — full price applies. (A card on file is still required to request a try-on, so this only works in good faith.)
The fine print (kept short)
- •UF students only. Every account is verified with a @ufl.edu email.
- •No subscription, ever. When your item gets rented, SwampSwap keeps a small percentage of your listed price — the rest goes straight to you.
- •No deposit at booking. Your card is saved securely, but you're only charged the rental fee once the owner confirms the item's been returned.
- •Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before your rental starts.
- •Damage or no-return? If an item isn't returned or comes back damaged, we may charge your card on file — up to the listed rental price of the item, based on photo evidence submitted by the owner. Every charge is manually reviewed by us before it happens — never automatic, never a surprise amount.
- •Be a good Gator. Treat other people's stuff like your own. Repeat issues may result in account restrictions.
- •Free try-on (optional, owner's choice per listing). If a listing offers try-on, you can request a time slot to try it in person. You have 6 hours from hand-off to return it. Return it in time, unworn, and you pay nothing. If you keep it, wear it out, or don't return it in time, it converts to a full rental at the listed price. A card on file is required to request a try-on.
